Wow if you like pizza you will love Winnies definitely the best I have ever had seriously!! We had the Montanara pizza delicious, so much so my friends are going back tomorrow night. We had to wait a while for our table but worth the wait. Nice to be recommended a place that certainly delivered on it’s reputation.

Delicious pizza, but like everything in Queenstown, at a silly price. You’re probably not getting your money’s worth, but if that’s not important to you or you just feel like splurging once in a while then you won’t be disappointed.

Yum! And did I mention…….. YUM! The pizzas here are superb. Plus the service is excellent. I had my pizzas to go and they were ready within 10 minutes of placing my order. Try the chicken, cranberry and Camembert. Highly recommended.

Eating out in Queenstown on any night, and it would be easy to forget that you may not actually be eating out on a Saturday night.
Sunday night, late after a movie and the place had a reasonable number of people playing pool, having a few drinks and a couple even older than us eating pizza – a lot older I might add.
There was a pseudo-DJ playing some decent hiphop in the background. I say pseudo, because he seemed to be bouncing to his unmixed Winamp computer selection and subjecting everyone to it – at least until he switched to this annoying grungy excuse for music.
Almost forgot, this is about the food right … the pizza was very good! Its our 2nd trip to Queenstown, and I was in a grump the 1st trip so the pizza didnt seem so good then. We had the Tri-Factor and it was very nice.
Only gripes about the place were that it was hot inside with the open fire going full bull – so after being dressed for a chilly night outside, I found it hard to sit with the place so hot! The only other gripe was that with so many international visitors there, youd think one would be good enough to warrant a challenging pool game … NEH!
