Everything a good, honest pub dining experience should be – unpretentious, tasty food (tender tasty steaks, chips that taste like the deep-fryer is cleaned regularly), prompt and friendly service, and a good range of tap beers and cider.
A good alternative when some of the more high-profile bars are rammed on a Friday night.
