Fantastic food and lovely service! Really great to have parking close to the restaurant aswell! Had the lamb and it was very nice.

After much research to choose a fine dining restaurant for a special occasion we dined here last night. Excellent service, innovative food including the side dishes and an extensive and well stocked and apparently accurate wine list. Disappointed that the Bluff oysters were substituted with Clevedon and the Creme Brûlée dessert was fussy and didn’t match the high standard of the rest of the meal. But this is definitely worth a visit and return and there’s parking too.

I don’t usually eat at Tribeca in the evening but this year in Auckland we tried it and it lived up to its previous high standard.
Newmarket is lucky to have such a great chef in a local restaurant. It compares favourably with most in Auckland

This short review is the result of at least 5 visits to Tribeca, which for many Aucklanders remains an undiscovered gem.
Tribeca occupies a wonderful old worldly and slightly chic ground floor space in a former hospital with both indoor and outdoor tables depending upon the weather.
Now to the food and service, we started visiting Tribeca a good 18 months ago and returned initially as a result of the fabulous food. At the time of our first visit I had lamb with a spiced marshallow, sounds a little strange but came together beautifully not least due the abilities of the kitchen. Subsequently we have dined there several times and have not yet had a less than wonderful experience.
Good service is one of lifes great luxuries, Tribeca appears to have a small team of well trained people with passion. On our last two visits wine suggestions were not only spot on but did little to break the bank balance, most considerate!
The best compliment is to return again and again, this we have done again and again.

Returning to Auckland we as usual had to wait till TriBeCa opened after Christmas. We had lunch on the 14th and till reckon its the best lunch spot in the area.
This is the 6th year we have eaten there and the inventive cooking is always a delight. With great wines by the glass and a great choice I look forward to a few more great lunches before we return to the cold.
Just the thought of sitting in the courtyard cheers us up on cold winter days in England
