Awesome, awesome ,awesome! We would never have known this restaurant if it hadn’t been promoted in our accommodation information. This has to be one of the BEST dining experiences in Dunedin in a long time. The ambience, the food, music, service is undeniable the best around – just a shame they wouldn’t give the secret ingredients to one of their sauces! You have to try the Pork Belly entree – or the Lamb Rump or Smoked eye fillet..Keep up the good work, we were certainly impressed!

Have only eaten here twice but can’t say enough about the place. The food is fantastic and the service great. I wanted Pork Belly but the menu had changed and they only had it as an Entree so I asked if they could make it into a main. The waiter didn’t bat an eyelid and said “of course we can but it will be a little dearer than the entree price”. Obviously I expected this and was delighted with my Main of Pork Belly. I would have no hesitation in returning and often recommend this as the place to go. Interestly enough I was speaking to a friend of mine last week who is a Chef in a busy city restaurant and he told me this was his favourite place to eat. I guess that says it all.

Nice view and nice restaurant. Feels very upmarket. Waiter was chatty at the right times and very informative. Food was very good. Between the two of us we had the breads/dips (try the olives!) a lamb main, a salmon main, and a dessert each.
On the expensive side, but has good deals (see LTD) and its well worth the price.

Very nice venue, overlooking george street. Food was great, had a lamb wellington with pate (interesting but effective), and my other had a smoked rib eye (also interesting but effective) Service was quick, and waitress was very nice and happy.

Don’t usually write about my eating out experiences, but thought this was worth sharing. Ate at Table Seven as had not seen my wife in some time. Was greeted with a smile and sat at a window table which was a little drafty so we were moved (It was freezing outside). Water and wine arrived promptly. Wife had two starters and I had a starter and main course. Food was outstanding, flavors were right on for each dish. Also cooked spot on. Didn’t have dessert but had a cocktail, coffee and port for dessert. Was reasonably priced for what we got. The wife is now happy!!

Great food, fantastic atmosphere and the best wait staff around. Friendly, knowledgable and a great wine list. Food was well presented and tasted fantastic. Shame we didn’t have room for dessert – next time! Great place to just have a drink too – no pressure to eat.
