Slow Fish Beach Front Cafe is situated opposite the Main Beach under the Towers.with the best view onto the beach!! Come and sit in the sun and watch the people go by. slowfish only uses free range eggs and free range bacon on their breakfasts and a lot of organics where possible. We are slowfood members and try to run our cafe as suistainable as possible.

by Patsy 4th January 2012: I am a regular with my family at this cafe. Staff are good that make the coffees, but if the female owner is on the machine they are terrible. Staff attentive and helpful, but female owner never smiles or acknowleges you and is borderline rude during the busy season. Food is lovely. Keep deciding to boycott this cafe as theres lots of competition but keep coming back as its very consistent
by Maggie 30th November 2011: BIG fan of Slow Fish. The food is organic and you can really taste the difference. Good choice of vegetarian food. No wonder it’s voted cafe of the year 2011. Great stuff guy’s keep it up.

by Honki 26th September 2011: Fantastic organic & free-range foods. Not a huge choice but it’s not hard to find a favourite meal that you hanker for. We took English friends there and they could not believe the quality of the food for the price. The view is fantastic and the owner and his staff are so proud of the place and friendly. And just when your gut is busting from the main meal, there are the delectable cabinets cakes & deserts to try – and the servings are HUGE! Definitely tops in the Mount.

by joe p. 8th May 2010: lovely place. Suffers like all on the golden strip when the crowds arrive. But well worth it food and nice (albeit, somewhat small in size)coffees. Staff can be somewhat indifferent, but generally worth a visit

And the view, what a killer?
So I had a piece of cheese cake yesterday
Ooohhrrhhh it was seriously good
Really like the base. The middle was very nice and the topping was perfect
Couldn’t finish it all
But that is probably related to guilt
So
Until I am again free to ride down to the Mount
