We visited the restaurant today for my birthday and I was very disappointed. The food was not as per the menu description (missing ingredients), service below par and over priced.

My husband and I had brunch at She Choclat on a lovely, sunny morning. The view from the deck is beautiful. We ordered hot chocolates which were very yummy. Especially with a shot of coffee added! I ordered the eggs benedict with bacon. Unfortunately, it wasn’t up to standard. The poached eggs were very overdone and the yolk was set like a hard boiled egg. There wasn’t a waitperson around to ask how everything was and therefore I was unable to get them replaced. I was also not offered any salt or pepper and neither were on the table. We mentioned the over cooked eggs when paying the bill and were told that the “chef is fabulous” and were offered a complimentary truffle each to compensate. I would rather have perfect poached eggs especially considering I was paying $19.50 for them!

Highly recommend this restaurant to all. My husband, daughter and I went today to this restaurant for coffee and chocolate as a special treat for our daughters birthday. Our waitress was brillant and we just mentioned it was our daughters 21st birthday today. She came back after we ordered our drinks and chocolates, with a piece of cake and a lit candle for our daughter. What a special touch to top off our daughters special day. Our drinks and chocolates were gorgous. Best Hot chocolate in town. An amazing setting, brillant service. A lovely Irishman settled our bill and he too was great. Thank you She Chocolate.

I took my wife to She for lunch on her birthday a few weeks ago. The layout, location and decor were very good, the food was fantastic (well portioned and well thought out). The chocolate available is absolutely amazing, particularly She’s original hot chocolate. The only that let the experience down on the day we were there was the service. For most of the time the manager was the only person dealing with all the customers in the cafe, as well as making drinks and being the waiter.. However we did receive a discount on our meals due to the slow service, and I would point out that this was offered to us and not demanded. Overall I would definitely go again, in fact I plan to!
