We have visited Porcini many times and as well as a lovely friendly atmosphere, the food is always excellent ! Service is always with a smile

Takeaways are also to die for, pizza’s & pastas are great.

We have tried out others in the area and Porcini always stands foot above the rest.
Definatley our Favourite place to eat out.

As local, having lived ponsonby most of my life i couldn’t find much nice restaurant or cafe in Northwest.

however, ive been regular since 3years ago the seafood pasta is amazing! they use fresh seafood (not frozen seafood) and great choice in pizzas, great main dishes i particularly like twice roasted duck

i would highly recommend to everyone, it will be worth driving in Helensville for experiencing real food!

The first thing I noticed about this restaurant was the warm atmosphere. The food and wine didn’t disappoint either. I had the Porcini hand made pate to start, the twice roasted duck and the hand made coffee & brandy sultana icecream to finish. I loved every bit of my meal. My husband and son also enjoyed their pizza, chowder and eye fillet with stilton. Great service, lovely people only wish I lived closer.

I was very impressed with the excellent food and amazing service, had a 3 course meal and had to pop a belt buckle on the way out!!! I am most impressed with the service and we had an excellent time all round will be returning again sometime soon!!!!!

What a great night! This place rocks! The food, the service exceeds many city based restaurants and recommend Porcini to all.

I have been to Porcini numerous times and ALWAYS get fabulous food & service.

Just went there for a function of over 35 people and still the food came out exceptionally fast & their awesome quality. Set Menus were fabulous at a very reasonable rate.

Highly recommend Porcinis – we are so lucky to have a restaurant of such a high standard in Helensville

My husband and I have dinned at Porcini’s many times,we’ve tried everything on the menu, the food and wine is superb! So superb we drive the 35min(one way)just for takeaways! and I highly recommend it to everyone I know!

The staff are very friendly,and the chef pops out to say hi, which I think is a lovely touch. With the tasteful decor’ and the restaurants facilities its a breeze for wheelchair users, and makes for a special evening.

What a find! Fantastic food, cool surroundings with extremely friendly (if a little slow) service.
There is a real feeling of passion with the food here – often lacking in many other restaurants. The presentation of the food is superb and really does taste as good as it looks. We drove nearly 50ks for dinner and it was well worth it. Well definately be back. Highly recommended.

On the way home from work I occasionally pop in to grab a pizza, definitely worth the prize.. perfect takeaway pizza every time. Bit of a wait, but tasty things take time! Have eaten at a table there once before, the owner is super friendly, service is great.. atmosphere is brilliant and best of all the food is always perfect.

Don’t change a thing.

Have not a bad word to say about Porcini the service is very friendly and relaxed. Great ambiance and comfortable surrounds…but best of all is the great food and generous serves…Thank You Porcini we will be back

My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Porcinis on Saturday night and it was excellent from beginning to end. Attentive wait staff, superb, delicious food and a lovely friendly atmosphere made this a wonderful night out.

The chef really knows what he’s doing, and we feel so lucky to have an award winning restaurant as our “local”.

For those who may need to travel to this restaurant – you won’t be disappointed, well worth the drive.

I eat at Porcini at least once a month. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed and intimate. I love this place and highly recommend it.

My husband and i have been to Porcinis twice now and we are about to take a couple of friends tonight. We ride there from out west, which is lovely scenery, and then have the most delicious meal. We both love the place, the food is to die for, and the lovely lady that greats us is a gem.
We cant speak highly enough of the place, congratulations on being ‘our restaurant’

I’ve eaten at Porcini several times now. The service can be a bit slow, but as I now know in advance to expect that it’s not a problem. Just be prepared to relax! The food is delicious – the lamb rack is the best lamb I’ve had anywhere, and the fish I had a while back was divine. The only disappointment I’ve had was with some calimari, which tasted fine but was very rubbery. On the whole I won’t hesitate to eat at Porcini again.
