15th February 2012-
Went to the Valentines dinner last night, Amelia was very nice as we were running late and arrived at 7.30pm. They had a special menu on tonight. I had the Salmon and partner had the tomato tart it was Delicious! never had salmon before so it was a great treat, we both had the beef medalions for our main this was cooked perfectly and presentation was beautiful, the desserts were Delicious! The service was fantastic very friendly staff. Compliments to the Staff and Chef of Morgans Vineyard will be back to try the duck and pork from your regular menu. A+++

6th November 2011-
We arrived early and the service was initially good but as the restaurant began to fill (still less than 40 diners), at around 8 p.m.; it felt like they were quickly overwhelmed. In the end, after a considerable wait, we ditched our unfilled order for coffee and left .
The children’s menu (3 options at $11) is uninspiring. Commercial fish fingers with the fish and chip option were disappointing. Similarly, a lonely sausage on mash with a small ramekin of overcooked veg (and honestly; what child likes cooked cabbage?) didn’t delight.
The menu is small and has no vegetarian main option. We sampled 3 of the 6 mains. The lamb was honest but unmemorable. The steak was well cooked but struggled under a heavy handed garlic/herb butter. Sadly, the salad side was nominated the best part of that dish. The salmon was pleasant and a generous portion. However, its rice bed was dry and cried out for more of the spiced red pepper butter sauce.
Morgan’s offer fairly standard ‘pub’ fare in a relaxed, rural setting. The prices are at the higher end for this kind of food.

Went for brunch this weekend and had a lovely meal. I had the eggs benedict with smoke salmon and it was divine – perfect poached eggs and great hollandaise. Good service, definitely recommend.
