Staff very friendly and made you feel welcome. Good selection of wines and a range of prices. Both our starters and mains were great. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Yum! Desserts were a bit of a let down compared to the earlier courses. It looked like they were bulk produced with a bit of ice-cream on the side. They could have been a lot better. Hot drinks at the end put the icing back on the cake. Birthday chocolates were a nice touch too. Overall, we will be back again.

Went for a quick lunch one Saturday as a couple. Service was very pleasant. Ordered Seafood Chowder and a Venison Burger. Both were lovely and pretty well priced. The place was a little cold and we were seated in the bar area rather than the restaurant proper which was a little sad as the other area looked quite inviting. Overall it was a nice experience and I’d go back.

Went to Level One with a group, and a set menu. Always a bit nervous in these situations, but I was very pleased with the outcome. The roast turkey was moist, and well complemented with ham and some vegetables. Set menus can be very ordinary, but this was good. Pleasant, agreeable service.
