A bit disappointing considering we were very excited to have an Italian restaurant in Glen Eden – who would have thought!! We ordered take out and for the amount we paid were very disappointed with the portions we received!! First impressions are everything because if not you just don’t go back!!

What a fantastic find!

We have dined here twice and had numerous takeaways. My partner and I both love this place. The food is fresh, delicious and authentic, we wouldn’t go anywhere else for Italian now! I am gluten free and they were able to cater for me perfectly! I think they are starting to know us now! The staff are very friendly and helpful It does get very busy as it’s only small, so it pays to book! Really well priced also. Love this place, can’t wait to go back again!

Great Meal. We had heard good reports about La Rosa. We had a limited amount of time and they produced a wonderful meal for all. First time dinners. We were very happy. Thank you to the Chef and Staff. Debs

A group of us went here for my daughters birthday last night and the food is very good. The menu had a lot of variety. we had to wait a while before we ate. The wait was too long for some at my table as it was nearly an hour and we ended up eating around 9pm.

The staff were nice and we were advised of the wait.
I would go back again, however if it was a special occasion with lots of people make sure too book early as this was too late.

Went to for a quick lunch of seafood chowder and a salad. What a pleasant surprise to find a genuine Italian restaurant in Glen Eden. Good service too – we shall return for an evening meal.

We decided to try the new Italiano restaurant ~ La Rosa.

The food was excellent ~ the service was brilliant and the ambiance ~ very Italiano.

Great to have such a good restaurant in Glen Eden.

First time visitors ~ we are booked in tonight – Yay!

Second visit to La Rosa with a group of 9. First visit was when the restaurant first opened and it was great. We were excited that there was finally a decent place to eat out in Glen Eden. Unfortunately our second experience left a lot to be desired. Service was good and staff were pleasant, although a bit slow to serve us. The food was what let them down, mediocre to say the least, only about 4 of us really enjoyed our meals and the lasagne was almost inedible. I tasted it and it appeared to have no tomato base, mince with cheese sauce? The chicken and mushroom fettucine was bland, although the mushroom themselves were devine. Other dishes were of similar standard, we definitely had no oohs and aaahs. Overall a disappointing experience.

Dear Amanda, firstly if you had read our menu i guess you had,the description for our lasagna in the menu is Bolognese sauce with béchamel sauce(white sauce) and not tomato base or any cheese sauce. Our policy are make all the customers happy,i had checked with all our staff and they didn’t heard any complain similar that. When something alike that happen, me or my Wife,we try to fix in the best way.
I appreciate if you can let me know what name of booking and which day was that? Also please contact to us,for we can do something special for you.

This place deserves 5 star. The food is amazing, if you love Italian food than you will love this place. The salmon pasta & seafood risotto is highly recommended. The prices are reasonable and service is fantastic.

We had dinner at La Rosa last night.

The food was superb, the service was fantastic and the ambiance was excellent.

I had the best seafood pasta I’ve had in a long time. The second time i’ve been and it was great, the service is wonderful and definately a reasonably priced restaurant. About time Glen Eden had a decent restaurant!

The service was good and the food amazing. The veal melted in your mouth and the sauce was lovely, the gnoochi was excellent and the dessert devine. The garlic bread could have used a bit more garlic though!

First time visitors and will definitely go again

A large group of us went last Friday for mine and my sisters combined birthday. The food was fantastic!!! Service was very good. Had a lovely time and will definitely go back. Extra bonus being a BYO!
