Our Restaurant has its seafood delivered fresh (that’s why you come here) our pasta, bread and ice cream are all homemade and our cusine returns to the style of honesty. Once you get here and soak up the magic of the Tutukaka coast you will feel as if you are Oceans away from any hustle and bustle. Our Chefs care, our staff are friendly. by Verity S. 20th January 2012: We were expecting nice things from a restaurant and bar in a hotel.

Again – another disappointing lunch in Tutukaka!
Staff behind the bar seriously need some training!
The toilets desperately needed a good clean! (If i’d been in there before we ordered the food then I wouldn’t have ordered any food!)
It wasn’t even busy so I can find no reason for excuses!

The most unappetising squid ever! (Seagulls enjoyed it though )
by Lynn R. 10th October 2011: We went for the Monday $15 pub menu…there was a small but varied menu, which could offer something for almost everyone…plus a glass of house wine or beer.

We were very pleasantly surprised the wine glass was filled and the meals were generous, we even had a personal visit from the hostess which made us feel very special.

Thanks guys we will be back again and recommend to all.

by Iain 10th August 2011: Could be anywhere really, pretty typical menu offering pretty typical food. Not amazing, never bad so can’t really go wrong if you’re looking for a safe bet.

Edit: Went back again recently and had the eye fillet, really enjoyed it. Had the kids with me and they were satisfied with the food. The staff went out their way to give the kids activity sheets with pens/pencils too. Up-vote from 3 to 4 for the effort put in.

Catering for families that are here to enjoy the coast and not fluff around with pretentious meals.
