Ground Floor Cafe is a busy daytime cafe, which is warm and relaxed, in a modern contemporary setting, situated close to Hagley Park in Christchurch. Open seven days, 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 2:30pm Saturday and Sunday. We have seating inside and a sunny courtyard for outside dinning. We pride ourselves with having “Great Food and Coffee” coupled with a friendly and welcoming team, lead by Sarah the owner. We have an extremely loyal customer base many of whom are known by name including their coffee and food preferences. We are also a popular destination for many of New Zealand’s leading sporting and arts personalities. We provide a breakfast and lunch menu both of which are available all day plus a range of dishes from our cabinet. Our menu and cabinet includes a wide choice of gluten free and vegetarian options. Our signature dishes the Ground Floor Cafe “GFC Grill”, Eggs Benedict, French Toast, Thai Fish Cakes are available throughout the year, with other dishes added to the menu and cabinet to suit the changes in season. We have a liquor licence with a range of wines and beers, as well as non alcoholic drinks and of course our coffee. We also offer home and corporate catering plus private venue hire.
