Overview
Since 2007 Garnet Station has been run by two women passionate about the environment, who live onsite with a huge back garden.
Garnet Station make their own fabulous food (apart from the sticky brioche!). They also offer organic ice cream, gourmet mince and cheese pies, and interesting beverages in addition to their coffee, like pots of organic herbal loose leaf tea, or a cool Elderflower Sparkle drink.
Right from the start, these cafe owners pressed their coffee provider for fairtrade organic beans & cups that were biodegradable. Garnet Station is committed to only serving organic milk. All food waste is composted & worm farmed on site in the big backyard.
Garnet Station is local community cafe with a large following who enjoy picking up new info about what’s going on in their community or even joining in debate about the latest news, as they await for their lovingly prepared coffee.

One of my favorite cares. Lovely home cooked food, and satisfying mugs of coffee. Feel like I am in my Nan’s lounge with a bunch of new friends every time I go. Very comfortable and homely….toys for the young ones too. Love it!
