We loved this place! It’s right on the lake, and has a very warm ambiance. The service was wonderful and attentive. We enjoyed our meal very much. The fish and chips are terrific and so is the salt and pepper squid! I loved the turbot, and our son really enjoyed the pork chop, which was a nice surprise at a seafood restaurant.

Delicious meal but we didn’t have seafood! Well we began with the squid and then had lamb and steak (We’d had amazing oysters for lunch). Excellent food, pleasant ambience, great Welsh waitress. Spot on service. Would return

This is a seafood speciality place. Not sure how they make money because the place was near empty – most likely not due to service because they were fairly attentive.
Garlic loaf and scallops for entree. The loaf was good, but $15 for 5 tiny spots on a plate which were supposedly scallops seemed a bit much.
Our mains were fairly plain, but that was likely to be due to our choice of mains as well. I opted for the calamari and the wife for crumbed fish of the day. The meals came with coleslaw, but they were pretty small portions of coleslaw.
Overall not a bad place. It looked clean and has a reasonably good atmosphere, which was let down this night by the lack of people. It is however perched right on the waterfront side of Qtown, so would make for pretty lunch views if thats what youre into.
