Friendly staff, but disappointed that having read the reviews and both of us deciding to have their “signature dish” (which other reviewers have recommended) – the Cucina Grill – to be told that it is not available for lunch – don’t understand that at all as this cafe is only open for breakfast and lunch?? Settled for the mushroom and bacon pasta, but very bland – more cream than anything else – I’m sure kids would love it, but the pasta I cook for family week night dinners is far superior and at $17.95 definitely overpriced for what we got. Coffee was good and the little biscotti a nice touch, but no desire to return.

Went on Saturday for lunch. Pretty good for West Auckland. The place had quite a few people in it. Good coffee and food. I had a BLT bagel

Been here twice now, once for breakfast, had the cucina grill, their version of a big breakfast which was really good with the chorizo sausage and roast potatoes with caramelized onion, something a bit different and well executed.
We came with a group from work for lunch and had some pizzas and pastas, lovely flavors, highly recommended.
Service is always good and great ambiance.

This cafe is quite an ‘upmarket’ one for Henderson. I like the wooden tables and the somewhat fancy presentation of the Italian type food. The service is excellent however the only drawback for me personally is I found the food wasn’t really doing it for me. It leaves you a bit thirsty afterward I think it’s a bit too rich with the seasonings. Had the mushroom tart, came with leafy salad. My friend felt the same way. But others thought it wonderful..so I guess it depends if you like that whole panini-tomato-salady stuff.

We went for a Saturday brunch and really enjoyed it. The waitress was really lovely and our meals were delicious and fairly healthy options too which we liked. Great coffee as well and lovely setting.
