Professional Barista Prepared Espresso On the go coffee using
Wellington Freshly Roasted Emporio Fair Trade Organic Beans. The main menu is the coffee, prepared from a long standing coffee cart since 2008.
Situated along the Hungarian Gardens in the middle of Thorndon, in Wellington CBD. A small garden amidst the towering building.
Formerly Barista Boys, Barista Thorndon now commands the traditional quality if not better coffee and service for that much needed fix in the morning.

The coffee is smooth and strong and the barista is as friendly as you can get. Great to stop by while walking to work or school.
As a regular coffee drinker, I found that once I tried the barista’s coffee, who goes by the name of Cesar, I compared it to the numerous other cafes and coffee bars around Wellington and only a very few could come close to this cart’s produce. The service is quick and includes a friendly chat while the barista works if you want. It gives you a good start to the day.
As a coffee cart, there is sparse seating and no sit-in available; homemade baked goods are available.
