Family owned and operated, the enthusiastic team of Chef Wayne (Dad), Business Manager Janine (Mum), and Front of House Manager Shelley (Daughter) will make your dining experience at Argosy one to really enjoy! The family took over the business in January 2010, and enjoy serving the local community and all those passing through to enjoy the beauty of the Marlborough area. We’re the Restaurant with the enormous big Plane in the front yard!

by Melissa 22nd December 2011: Awesome food and lovely people. We go here a lot and every time they are friendly and the meals are huge. Haven’t once had a bad meal here. Been for both breakfast and dinner. If you’re looking for a friendly place that constantly provides good, big meals then this is the place, and cheap too!! The Big Breakfast and pancakes are a favourite for breakfast but there are so many at dinner time its hard to just choose one favourite.

by gourmetglam 16th October 2011: Good old fashioned cooking, big portions, value for money, excellent food and friendly service. 4pax, evening, (2 seafood platters + 2 roasts – fantastic). Great setting with the Argosy Aeroplane, fab views of Wairau Valley/Wither Hills. Something for everyone: family, romantic couples, sports fans, passing tourist. A welcome break from pretentious winery restaurants! Thank you!
by gail 6th October 2011: I have been there a few times and have had great service,its a pity they cant expand it as it gets very full and busy.The food is great and there is a good selection and you get plenty on your plate for at great prices
